Terms of Service

These terms form the agreement between you and Appwide OÜ (registered in Tallinn, Estonia) governing your use of the Lume application and related services (together, the Service). By installing or using Lume you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

The Service

Lume provides an encrypted network tunnel between your device and one of our servers. We aim to provide a reliable service but do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available in every territory at all times.

We may suspend or terminate access where we reasonably believe the Service is being used in breach of these terms or of applicable law.

Plans & billing

Subscriptions are sold through Apple and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device. Refund requests are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.comin accordance with Apple's policies and any applicable consumer-protection law.

Account security

You are responsible for keeping your device and any account credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorised use of your account, please contact us at [email protected].

Intellectual property

The Lume name, logo, mascot, application design, and accompanying content are owned by Appwide OÜ or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Service except to the extent expressly permitted by these terms or by applicable law. Third-party open-source components included in the Service are licensed under their respective licences.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an as is and as available basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements or that any particular website, service, or content will be reachable through any particular server.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable to the other for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with these terms or the Service. Our aggregate liability for any direct loss arising out of or in connection with the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including rights you may have as a consumer.

Apple App Store terms

You acknowledge that these terms are concluded between you and Appwide OÜ, and not with Apple. Apple is not responsible for the Service or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the Service. To the extent these terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA for Licensed Applications, these terms control, except where a provision of the Apple EULA is more protective of you, in which case that provision applies. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.

Term & termination

These terms apply for as long as you use the Service. You may terminate them at any time by deleting your account and uninstalling the app. We may terminate or suspend your access for breach of these terms or where required by law. The sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law) will continue to apply.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be highlighted in the app, and the date at the top of this page will be updated.

Governing law & disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Estonia. Disputes that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to the competent courts of Tallinn, Estonia. If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you also have the right to bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
