Quick answers
The VPN won't connect.
- Make sure you're on the latest iOS (Lume requires iOS 18 or newer).
- Try a different server from the Servers tab.
- Toggle Airplane Mode off and on. Lume re-establishes the tunnel automatically.
- If the issue persists, open Settings → VPN & Device Management → Lume and remove the configuration, then connect again.
Streaming services still detect a VPN.
Some streaming providers update their blocklists frequently. Try a different streaming-tier server (Tokyo, London, New York are best maintained). If you're consistently being blocked, email [email protected] with the service name and the server you tried.
I can't use Lume on my work Wi-Fi.
Some corporate networks block all VPNs. Lume's obfuscation works on most of them, but some deep-packet-inspection setups will still block any encrypted tunnel. There's nothing we can do about networks that explicitly forbid VPN traffic.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Subscriptions are billed by Apple. Cancel any time at Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → Lume → Cancel Subscription. We can't cancel on your behalf — only Apple has access to your subscription.
I want a refund.
Apple handles all refunds for App Store subscriptions. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com within the eligibility window.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This removes your user record and revokes every device key tied to it. Anonymous-mode users can simply uninstall the app — there's nothing on our side to delete.
